Ninjas Hate The Super Bowl

This comic is probably contains the most truth ever. Super Bowl parties are great until everybody leaves, then the major suckage begins.

Now, I didn’t host a Super Bowl party this year. But I did attend one and know several people who did throw parties for their friends. I have also helped host a Super Bowl party in the past. Here’s the thingĀ  about them. The after-party clean up sucks. Seriously. Most of the time, you just go “screw it” and save the clean up for the next day. Which is fine. But then you can wake up to some pretty funky smells from the new civilization thriving in your kitchen sink.

Speaking of parites. A couple weeks back Kotaku posted an article about throwing a gamer party. The advice contained therein, I think, is applicable to any type of social gathering. Very much worth a read.

Some other awesome things coming up:

Okay, so I played the first F.E.A.R. and was fairly entertained, but didn’t think I would be coming back for more when I heard F.E.A.R. 2 was announced. I’ve been keeping tabs on it as it went through the production cycle and still didn’t see anything that grabbed me. But after watching the newest trailer, I think I’ll be revisiting the FPS-Horror genre in the near future. Yes, Call Me Crow, you were right. Good job.

Another thing: GHOSTBUSTERS THE GAME! I know this is one I’m going to be playing. Release date has been announced as June 16. That’s too long. I want it now.

NAO!!

Never crosses the streams, sometimes looks at the trap.

I am so pumped for the Ghostbusters game. It is the two movies plus a new story as a new recruit. Yeah I did nothing for the super bowl except watch it and the commercials. Fear 2 I am not so sure about. I unfortunately did not get to play the first one so playing the second one would be out of character.

@ Archer: Correction: It only has characters that appeared in the movies. The game takes place in 1991, two years after the events in Ghostbusters II.

@Archer: Y’see, that’s the awesome thing. Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, who wrote the movies, wrote the story for the game and the Akroyd, Ramis, Murray, and Hudson are reprising their roles for the game.

There are also rumors that working on the game has sparked interest in making Ghostbusters III.

I need to watch Ghostbusters II again. The only thing I really remember about it were the ectoplasm shooting backpacks and the scene in which Peter controls the statue of liberty with a NES Advantage.
