Ninjas Hate Subscription Fees
I have a very love/hate relationship with Massively Multiplayer games. I like them, I play City of Heroes whenever I get the chance, but I hate paying the subscription fees. I paid for the game once, and I would like that to be the end of it.
Final Fantasy XI had the most ridiculous subscription set-up ever. Your first character slot was something like fifteen dollars, and each character slot after that was a dollar. They capped out at around 50 character slots, so if you wanted to have all of them, you were looking and shelling out around $60 each month. Yeah, not happening.
Now, I know there are some MMO’s out there that are free to download and play, but really, they’re nowhere near as fun as the full on retail games. Y’know?

I dunno, I hear Dungeon Runners is pretty fun. I guess it might not be as fun as a “proper” MMO, so you’re probably right.
