Archer’s Sniping Point #2
6 Months
This week, Ninja’s Hate Bad Grammar turned six months old. I want to congratulate Justin (Raven says “You my boy Blue!”) . In light of this milestone, I thought it would be proper to take a look at some other events that can happen in six months or less.
It seems now a days that many big wigs in various positions use six months as the perfect window for a leave of absence. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, took a six month leave of absence due to address health issues back in January. I was going to address another leave of absence in recent times but that person has since passed and I decided to talk about that would be in bad taste.
I bring up Steve Jobs and Apple becuase my own personal PC has been dying. Up until recently it was dying slowly but something happened over the weekend where it expedited the process. I cannot even access my campus mail system without it shutting off. I have been explaining this to my father for six months now. Last night we were able to finally have a discussion about hat we should do to rectify the problem. My solution, the cheap and quick lend me 400 bucks so I can buy a cheap lap top from Best Buy or Wal Mart. I would spend close to 900 dollars on one that I could easily use for day to day operations. I no longer need to game on my computer (I know that is a sad statement to read) so I can have fun with the features of the macbook. My father’s solution is to spend two grand on a macbook pro for me. I am a poor college student who is about to graduate (with no job for another 3 months) so affording anything Apple made is out of the question. Good for me that I am graduating though. Apparently a graduation present is going to be a macbook…I was looking for a car but meh.
Recovering from ACL surgery takes at least six months to happen. A new research that has recently come out says that pollution in the air takes six months off of your life. That is for those who have an average exposure to pollution. Question…I lived next to the world’s largest landfill, how much pollution have I took in and how many years off my life are gone?
A new thing I am going to try out in my Ninja Rants is something called: What Archer has his sights set on (am I doing too many cliche’s?)
Graduation, Ghostbusters the Video Game, Star Trek, X-Men Origins Wolverine, Transformers 2, GI Joe, Transformers and GI Joe the cartoons on dvd, Burn Notice Season 3 June 4th (which I am the most excited for out of this list)
This also should have been posted on Thursday/Friday but I thought I had lost the data. When I had time to finally come back, albeit a week later, it was a pleasant surprise to see the draft saved.
I am going to go to a Tuesday release schedule for this.

Ive never been steered wrong with Apples. My first computer was the Macintosh plus, then on to the iMac Graphite for a desktop, then a G4 Powerbook back when I started college. Had it for five years, took it everywhere with me, and only until the motherboard on it crapped out, was better then most PC/Windows based computers for all five years. Bought my wife the new Mac Book Aluminum, came with Bootcamp so you can run Windows XP on it perfectly (even better then a PC). Even played the graphic intensive WARHAMMER on it for awhile without a hitch until I bought my new desktop.
But until recently I was doing all my work on my old G4 desktop powerhorse. Because the G5s and Pros are so damn expensive I went with a cheaper HP Quad Core with Vista 64.
Its funny because Vista works great with the right system, and is based off of Apple OS’s.
Good luck with graduation, and hopefully Ill see you soon.
p.s. you left out Terminator on May 21st. XD

You are right..I did leave Terminator out..and Arnold is back in it. I am not sure if I want to game or not on this. I need my computer for when I am away training so I can continue to apply to grad schools/federal law enforcement agencies. Whichever I get first I will go with and at some point do the other. My dad is up in the air on either a Mac or a Dell. If I get a dell I want the XPS systems becuase I do not want dell’s video card but an Nvidia geforce whatever (I am not tech savy). I do not rememebr you having a mac. I rememebr you had a laptop
Oh and I will get Warhammer when I get my laptop if it can run. I miss hanging out with you on the interwebz

Yeah I had the black G4 Powerbook all through college. That thing lasted forever.
