Web Comic Frustration
RAGE!
This is what sucks about the learning process. I’ve got an image in my head of exactly how I want this page to come out, but I just can’t do it. I’ve been working on this comic all week, and I’m not even through with the pencils. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve erased entire panels and started over. What you can barely see in the background there is the last half of the comic I had planned with Monday.
I’m sure a lot of people would have given up by now and moved on to something else, but I won’t. He tasks me. He tasks me and I shall have him! I’ll chase him ’round the moons of Nibia and ’round the Antares Maelstrom and ’round Perdition’s flames before I give him up!
KHAAAAAAAAN!

Dude-man, Im the same way. Thats why Ive had so many failed comics before. Id just get so frustrated with not being able to portray what I have in my mind on paper, that Id just give up and stop drawing for MONTHS, even a whole year once.
But think of this, because of you I now have a newfound determination to make something work.
So in a way, youre like my sensei.
Also Page 3 is up and it has my Deemos tribute to NHBG!

I am in no way artistic nor do I understand artist block. When I do a rant it is a spur of the moment type where the majority of it is not planned out or made to be perfect. I do not envy what you have to endure as an artist but may I saw that the work that you put out is awesome. I tried to go for a million dollar mroe expensive word than awesome becuase I have inflated the price of that bitch a hundredfold.

I too, well know that feeling of frustration. It’s the reason why I stopped drawing in high school. To this day, I still don’t draw…at least, not with the regularity I once did.
A Star Trek reference? I knew I’d find one here today.
