I remember playing that game and not realizing it up until now, years later, I do recall that being a very annoying AI behavior in the game. As far as people not having lives when they do up a comic, well, I have a life. I just dont sleep :) And Im actually contemplating on trying for TWO full colored pages a week. Because as I continue with the comic, Im realizing how to do things much quicker. Maybe its just familiarity breeding ease, but who knows. Or maybe I should just stick to one mini, one main a week, and be able to go out on the weekends. Who am I kidding, I dont go anywhere. p.s. oh and curse you for introducing me to 4chan.
