So, I tend to procrastinate. That’s nothing new, everyone does it, especially in the webcomic world. Probably a good 90% of the work on a comic goes down at the last minute. Of course, for some comics, the last minute is the one right after you post the last strip to the site. Anyway, I digress.

The beautiful thing about Ninjas Hate Bad Grammar is this: If I hunker down and actually work, I can crank out the comic in about a day. But I have seven days in which to actually do the work. So that lets me work at a leisurely pace, have time for other responsibilities, and still get a comic done on time. The best part of that? I still get to play games for fun (and maybe profit).

This week I’ve had two addictions: Gears of War 2 and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Both pretty fun games, but Gears definitely has the upper hand in this battle royale. Spider-Man is more of a break when the war against man-size insects gets too intense and you need to stop playing before your eyeballs turn to dust because you haven’t blinked in the last four hours.

I picked up Mirror’s Edge for the 360 over the weekend. Very, very fun game, with one caveat. Somethings that are immeadiately obvious as to what you should do, are not very easy to pull off in practice.

For instance, right now I’m running through some subway tunnels, about, oh Chapter Three, Chapter Four, I think, and it’s pretty clear that I’m supposed to jump over a railing and grab onto a crossbar over the subway tracks to get to a door up above. But, whenever I try to jump the railing to get to the bar, Faith just vaults over the railing and drops down to the tracks below.

Argh.

Aside from that and the combat, which is frustrating in and of itself, it’s a pretty good game. Plus Gamestop had extra messenger bags for pre-orders so I got one of those too. They’re pretty swank.
